Hello all MINDFULGymers,
How are you? Still practicing MINDFULGym tools in your daily life? We would like to introduce to you MINDFUL-SPA, another mindfulness-based program, specially and locally designed by Ms. Low Mi Yen (Clinical Psychologist) with focus on enhancing self-care, emotional resiliency and managing relationships. MINDFUL-SPA is inspired by the work of Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Christopher Germer in self-compassion, and its tools complement MINDFULGym tools to increase your 'kungfu' in embracing stress in life. This version is conducted in 2 half days and the outline of the program is as below:-
- ABC of Self Compassion
- Application of Self Compassion in dealing with difficult emotions & challenging relationships
- Review of MINDFUL-SPA & moving forward plan
Date: 18 & 25 April 2015 (Saturday)
Time: 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm
Venue: Lecture Hall, Buddhist Maha Vihara, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.
This community-based mental health program is brought to you FREE by Kuala Lumpur Buddhist Mental Health Association (BMHA). In 2015, there will be 2 series of MINDFUL-SPA to be held in April and August on 2 Saturdays from 2.30pm to 6.30pm. Registration is open for April.
